The Professional Construction Estimators Association
of America, Inc. was chartered in 1956, by members
of various construction disciplines from the Charlotte,
NC area. During those early years the members rallied
together to exchange ideas, promote educational
endeavors and high ethical standards for construction
industry estimators. Today the Association holds true to those founding principles.
The purpose and objective of the organization is to further the recognition of construction estimating as a professional field within the construction industry. To collect and disseminate information that will increase the efficiency of all phases of construction, promote good will between the various phases of construction, obtain a more thorough understanding of the various problems confronting the Construction Industry.
